 Dr. Bill Chastain

Dr.  Bill Chastain is the son of a veterinarian and was raised in the small town of Salem, IN.
He graduated from DePauw and Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Bill has been a staff veterinarian at our hospital since receiving his D.V.M. in 1992 and
has been the managing doctor since 2003.  Areas of professional interest  to him include
preventative and internal medicine, dentistry, and general surgery.

He goes home to his wife, Tonya, an elementary school teacher for NACS, and their children:
Chandler, Caitlyn and Caroline, Oliver their Shih Tzu Mix and Pedro the cat.  Dr. Bill is active
in his church and enjoys playing golf and running.

Dr. Jamie Stover

Dr. Jamie Stover was born in Hollywood, Fl. was raised in Pompton Plains, NJ, until moving
to Ft. Wayne during high school.  In third grade she announced she would be a veterinarian
and even won the animal lover award in fourth grade.

Dr. Jamie received her B.A. from Taylor University in Upland and graduated from Purdue
University School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2006.  It was there she was chosen by
her professors and peers to receive the G. Edward Cummins Compasionate Care Award.
She did her externship here at St. Joe and then joined the staff in July 2006.  Her areas of 
interest include internal medicine, zoo medicine and some exotics.
Dr. Jamie and husband Chris enjoy hiking, water and snow skiing, biking, and traveling. 

   

                   

Dr. Brandon Stapleton

Dr. Brandon Stapleton was born and raised in Lexington, Ky.  After graduating from the
University of Kentucky, he attended Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Brandon graduated from Auburn in 2008.  He completed his externship and preceptorship
in two practices in his home state before moving to Indiana to fullfill his desire to be a
general practitioner.  His areas of professional interest include neurology and soft tissue
surgery.

Dr. Brandon and his wife, Christina, share three children:  Ripley, his dog, and Oliver and
Trinity, her cats.  They enjoy reading, running, spending time with family and friends, and are
both active in their church.
